Demre Myra Kekova Private Tour

Some places are best discovered slowly.

Along Turkey’s stunning Mediterranean coastline, ancient Lycian cities rise above crystal-clear bays, fishing villages cling to rocky hillsides, and traces of civilizations long gone remain hidden beneath the sea. Our Demre Myra Kekova Private Tour has been carefully designed for travelers who want to experience the region’s most iconic sights in comfort, without the restrictions of a crowded group tour.

Demre Myra Kekova Private Tour Itinerary:

Your day begins with a private pick-up from your hotel and a scenic drive to Demre, one of the most historically significant destinations on the Turkish Riviera.

The first stop is the legendary St. Nicholas Church, home to Saint Nicholas, the historical figure who inspired the modern-day Santa Claus. Rich in history and spirituality, this remarkable monument has attracted pilgrims and travelers for centuries.

From here, the journey continues to the ancient city of Myra, once one of the most important cities of the Lycian civilization. Walking among its impressive rock-cut tombs and remarkably preserved Roman theatre offers a fascinating glimpse into a world that flourished more than two thousand years ago.

After exploring Myra, the experience shifts from land to sea. At Çayağzı Harbour, your private boat awaits to take you into the breathtaking waters of Kekova.

Cruising along one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful stretches of coastline, your first stop is Gökkaya Bay. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs and turquoise waters, it is the perfect setting for a refreshing swim. While you enjoy the bay, a freshly prepared lunch is served on board.

The voyage continues to the charming village of Kaleköy, ancient Simena, accessible primarily by sea. Here you will have approximately 40 minutes of free time to wander through narrow stone streets, browse local shops, or simply relax at a waterfront café while enjoying spectacular views across Kekova.

One of the highlights of the day follows as the boat glides slowly over the famous Sunken City of Kekova. Protected as an archaeological site, this extraordinary underwater settlement reveals walls, foundations, and remnants of a once-thriving Lycian community submerged by earthquakes centuries ago.

As the afternoon unfolds, we make one final stop at the tranquil waters of Çamlık Bay. Enjoy another swimming break in the crystal-clear sea while seasonal fresh fruits are served on board — a simple pleasure that perfectly captures the relaxed spirit of the Mediterranean.

At approximately 5:00 PM, the boat returns to Çayağzı Harbour, where your private transfer will be waiting to take you comfortably back to your hotel.

Combining ancient history, breathtaking scenery, authentic coastal culture, and the freedom of private travel, the Demre Myra Kekova Private Tour offers an unforgettable journey through one of Turkey’s most captivating regions.

Ephesus & Selçuk Private Day Tour from Kaş & Kalkan

A full-day private journey to one of the most important ancient cities in the Mediterranean.
Early departure, comfortable transport, licensed guide, and a properly paced visit to Ephesus and Selçuk — returning to your hotel the same evening.

Duration: 13–14 hours

Departure: Kaş & Kalkan

Type: Private tour

Guide: Licensed professional guide

Best for: History-focused travelers

This is a long but carefully planned cultural day.

Our guests staying in Kaş or Kalkan sometimes tell us, “Can we see Ephesus from here?”. It is possible. But it requires an early morning and a full day on the road. This tour is for travelers who are comfortable with distance and genuinely interested in history.

We usually leave around 05:00 am from Kaş or Kalkan. Driving time is aroud 5hours. The first part of the drive passes through Kalkan and along the coast before turning inland toward Fethiye and the Aegean region. As the landscape changes, pine forests give way to wider valleys and agricultural land.

We normally stop once for coffee and a short break after about two hours.

Arrival in Selçuk is late morning.

Visiting Ephesus

Ephesus is large ancient city. It is not a small archaeological site that you walk through in 30 minutes. The visit usually takes around two hours at a steady pace.

You enter from the upper gate and gradually walk downhill through the city.

Along the way you see:

The residential quarters

The Temple of Hadrian

The Curetes Street

The Library of Celsus

The Great Theatre overlooking the ancient harbour

The Terrace Houses are optional. If you are particularly interested in daily Roman life, they are worth the extra ticket and time.

We take short pauses in shaded areas when possible, especially during summer months.

Selçuk Town

After Ephesus, we usually have lunch in Selçuk. It’s a small, relaxed town — very different from the resort atmosphere of the Mediterranean coast.

Depending on time and energy levels, we may visit:

The Basilica of St. John (built over what is believed to be the tomb of the apostle)

The remains of the Temple of Artemis

Isa Bey Mosque

These stops are not rushed. If guests prefer to rest instead, we adjust the schedule.

We normally leave Selçuk around 15:30–16:00.

The return journey is quieter. Most guests rest or sleep for part of the drive. We stop again for a short break before reaching Kaş or Kalkan in the evening, usually between 20:30 and 21:00.

Practical Notes

Total duration: 13–14 hours

Driving time: approximately 9–10 hours in total

This tour is private

Licensed guide included

Entrance tickets paid separately

Summer temperatures in Ephesus can be high. A hat, water and comfortable walking shoes are important.

Is This Tour Right for You?

This tour suits guests who:

May not travel to the Aegean region separately

Want to see Ephesus properly, not just briefly

Understand that this is a long travel day

It may not be suitable for families with very young children or guests looking for a short excursion

Elmalı Wine Tour from Antalya-Kaş-Kalkan

Elmalı Wine Tour from Antalya Kaş Kalkan is Private High-Altitude Vineyard Experience

Elmalı is a small mountain town located about two hours from Antalya, 2,5hours from Kaş and Kalkan. It is around 1,100 meters above from sea level. While the coast can be hot and humid, Elmalı is noticeably cooler and quieter.

This private tour is designed for travelers who want to leave the resort areas behind and explore a different side of the region — rural life, mountain landscapes, and high-altitude winemaking.

Elmalı Vine Tour from Antalya Kaş Kalkan Itinerary:

We depart from Antalya or Kaş, Kalkan in the morning with a private vehicle. The drive crosses the Taurus Mountains, with a short panoramic stop along the way.

In Elmalı, we visit a carefully selected boutique vineyard. The region’s altitude creates cooler growing conditions, which allows grapes to develop balanced acidity and structure.

During the visit:

We will explore the local grape varieties.

We will have an explanation of high-altitude viticulture.

We will have guided tasting of wines.

We will have a walk through the vineyard (season permitting)

We will learn about insight into small-scale production methods.

There is no rush. This is not a group tasting session.

After the vineyard visit, we explore Elmalı town center briefly — traditional houses, quiet streets, and local shops.

Optional:We will have lunch at Vineyard or at a local restaurant and famous Elmalı meatball serving as regional dishes.

Return to Antalya or Kaş, Kalkan in the late afternoon.

Why Elmalı?

Cooler mountain climate

Small-scale, limited wine production

Authentic local atmosphere

Far from mass tourism routes

This experience is private and tailored for 1–15 guests.

Duration: 8–9 hours
Departure: Antalya, Kaş,Kalkan (hotel pickup included)
Guide: Licensed professional guide
Wine tasting: Included

If you want to explore other hidden gems of region, please click here
