Sea and Beach in Kas

Kas is one of the warmest regions in Turkey where the temparature of the water is generaly above 20 degrees during summer months (april to october). Howeever at a few locations like Küçükçakıl and büyükçakıl beaches where fresh water mingles with the sea, temparature is lower. You can go to Limanağzı beach by dolmuş boat in 15 minutes. There isnt roadway to reach Limanağzı only seaway. On the way to Kalkan is a new marina and you see inceboğaz beach, hidayet beach, public beach on Çukurbap peninsula,you can swim. Another beach is Akça germe beach is far from Kas 3 kms, it is so fixed for family with baby.

Which beach is suitable for baby?

Mostly beaches are not suitable for family who has baby. Because beaches are getting deep suddenly and on platform. Now we listing beaches that is suitable for family.

• Inceboğaz beach is the most suitable beach in Kas. It is Kas Setur marina side and no wave. Besides that it has sand and come in the sea from zero.
• Akçagerme Beach is an other suitable beach for baby. It is 3 kms away from Kaş centre. It is proteced for wave.
