From Kalkan Sea Kayaking

Our tour begins from Kalkan and we pick you up and transfer you to the tiny village of Üçağız. Üçağız village is the gateway of Kekova region. Üçağız is 60 kms away from Kalkan. It takes around 50 minutes from Kalkan. Our professional sea kayak guide will give information about the route and kayak using.

Explore the Ancient Ruins of Kekova

Kekova is home to the Sunken City and Simena that are ancient Lycian settlements. Sunken City was partially submerged due to earthquakes centuries ago. When you paddle near the sunkencity, you feel the Lycian history. You will visit the Simena village. Simena is protected area and just accesable by sea way.

From Kalkan Sea Kayaking Excursion at Kekova ; A Day of Sea-Adventure

As we continue kayaking along the sunken city coastline, you will see sunken home’s wall, cisterns, stairs. we’ll take breaks at kekova bay, where you can swim in turquoise waters and sunken ruins.

itinerary 

07:30 am: We pick up you from Kalkan and drive to Üçağız village.

08:30 am : Our guide inform you about kayaking route and kayak using. You will get your kayak and start to paddling.

09:30am to 10:15am : We start to paddle from Üçağız to Shipyard bay. Then we stop at shipyard bay for swimming and relaxing.

11:00 am to 12:00 am : We pass over the Sunken City, explore the sunken remains of Lycian period and cross to Simena castle village.

12:00 to 13:00 pm : We stop at Simena village and have 1 hour free time for visiting village and swimming.

13:00 pm to 13:20 pm: We paddle to Üçağız again back and have lunch. Lunch is at restaurant. We offer mezes and chicken or fish.

14:00 pm to 15:00 . After lunch, we drive to Kalkan and drop off the customers to their hotel.
