Sea Kayaking Kekova Kas

Sea kayaking kekova kas is day trip. It departs from Kas and Kalkan. Sea kayaking is the best way to get up close to the 3000 year old ruins of the sunken city. Sea kayaks were used as sea vehicle in the past.  But now we use sea kayaks for tourism and exploring the bays.

We will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Kekova region that is one of the most beautiful spots on the Mediterranean. While there you will receive a full briefing about the day’s route, the kayak and its equipment from your guide.

We will start paddling from Üçağız Village to Tersane (Shipyard) Bay, with a swimming break at Tersane Bay and a great chance to view the ruins and sunken city whilst receiving information from your guide. Next we will paddle to Sunkencity of Kekova and pass over the sunken ruins by kayaks. You touch the history of Lycian. After point that we pass KaleKöy (Simena) and have a lunch break plus time to rest and walk around lovely Kale Köy. No way to reach Kaleköy except seaway. Just you must use seaway like kayaks or boat. There is no car way to Simena from anywhere. Finally, we will paddle from Kale Köy (Simena) to Üçağız Village (Teimusa) and drive back to Kaş.

Customers who will join from Kalkan, if they drive to Kaş by their own car, should be our Kaş office at 07:45 am.
